Una Laurea in Disegno Industriale e molta creatività. Con questo bagaglio inizia il percorso di Gabriele Bavastrelli, classe 1975, nel mondo del design, che nel tempo lo porterà a occuparsi del settore sotto molteplici punti di vista. Nei primi anni della carriera si fa le ossa in noti Studi milanesi, tra cui lo Studio Micella, dove muove i primi passi nell'architettura d'interni e nella progettazione tridimensionale; lo Studio di Fabio Rotella, che lo porterà ad affinare le proprie doti di progettista e a lavorare per marchi come Heineken, Andrea Fenzi, Avon Celli, D&G e Breil; lo Studio Roberto Paoli, con cui affina le doti di designer industriale. Dal 2006 dirige uno Studio tutto suo, che gli permette di spaziare in ogni ambito della creatività: graphic design, web design, interior e industrial design sono solo alcuni dei settori in cui si cimenta. Negli ultimi anni la sua attività l’ha visto impegnato nella creazione della linea di gioielli Relicon per Stella Milano e in progetti di design industriale, cui affianca l’attività di progettazione tecnica e la fornitura di cucine per locali pubblici, hotel e mense grazie al progetto B2Group, destinato al contract e alle grandi strutture. Nel 2012 ha ottenuto la prestigiosa nomination per il gradesignEtico International Award con il biocamino Slit, disegnato per Caleido Ecofire, oltre ad aver visto i suoi progetti Chop&Steel, tagliere da cucina multifunzione in acciaio e legno, e Omino, interpretazione originale dell’appendiabiti, selezionati per il volume Design For 2013.
He have a degree in Industrial Design and a lot of creativity: Gabriele Bavastrelli is a 37 years old designer and he always got a clear head about his future. In the early years of his career he gained experience in well-known studies in Milan, including the Studio Micella where he managed the development of three-dimensional models while taking his first steps in the field of Interior Design. Cooperating with the Studio Fabio Rotella he refined his designer skills and worked for top brands like Heineken, Andrea Fenzi, Avon Celli, D&G and Breil. After this important experience, he joined the Studio Roberto Paoli with which developed his skills in industrial design too. Since 2006 he directs his own Studio, allowing him to expand in every sphere of creativity: graphic design, web design, interior design and industrial design are just some of the areas in which it engages. In the last years his work has evolved into the creation of the jewelry collection "Relicon" for Stella Milano, followed by activities like the engineering and supply many industrial kitchen cabinets for public places, hotels and canteens through the B2Group project, directed to the contract market and to the large structures. In 2012 he received a prestigious nomination in the ethic design industry, being a finalist of the International Award "gradesignEtico", with the biofireplace "Slit", designed for Caleido Ecofire, in addition to seeing his projects "Chop & Steel" (a multi-function kitchen cutting board made of steel and wood) and "Little Man" (an original interpretation of a valet stand) selected into the book "Design For 2013".
